Here at Ansar School of Motoring, I carry out advanced driver training, including driving on motorways, dual carriageways, poor weather and night driving. Since passing your test you may have been faced with these for the first time and found them difficult, so you would like to further your skills under professional guidance. Purely focussing on one or more of these over a course of a few lessons will make you feel more confident, which in turn will allow you to drive more positively, and most importantly, with greater safety. I also offer intensive courses if you wish to shorten your time to the driving test.
PASS PLUS COURSES
Pass Plus courses can be taken once you have passed your standard driving test. You will become a qualified Pass Plus driver and all your skills will be enhanced, utilising them on faster roads such as dual carriageways and motorways. Upon completion of the Pass Plus course, you may save money on your car insurance! The course involves the six modules below. Town driving
Urban areas present many challenges including pedestrians, busy traffic, junctions and more. I'll teach you how to deal with these safely.
All weather driving
Learning how to drive in all weather is vital as conditions can change so quickly... especially in Britain! Snow, rain, ice and heavy winds, I'll show you how to adapt your driving.
Rural driving
Rural driving often includes hazards such as slippery roads, animals crossing, slow moving tractors and more. I'll teach you how to manage your driving to safely work around these hazards.
Night driving
Driving at night requires a lot of concentration, as you will deal with dazzling lights, speed management and more. I will teach you in both urban and rural environments.
Dual carriageways
Dual carriageway driving involves high speeds, safe and respectful lane management and more. I will teach you how to use your mirrors and signal correctly and how to maintain high concentration.
Motorway driving
Motorways must be treated with a great deal of respect, care and attention. I will teach you high speed lane management, and how to properly use your mirrors and signals for the safety of you and others.
